Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1 each bell pepper, cut into pieces (any color)
  • 1 each onion, cut into wedges

For the sauce

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce

For assembly

  • 1 pack skewers (wooden or metal, soaked in water if wooden)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and teriyaki sauce to create a marinade.
  • Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.
  • Grill the kabobs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve hot and enjoy! These kabobs are perfect on their own or with your favorite side.

Notes

Pre-soak wooden skewers in water to prevent burning on the grill. For a spicier kick, add jalapeño slices to your skewers. Can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
