Ingredients
  

For the Crunchies

  • 20 Golden Oreos (or vanilla sandwich cookies)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)

For Extra Crunch & Flavor (Optional):

  • ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cookie Crumbs:
    Crush the Golden Oreos in a food processor or place them in a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin until crumbly but not too fine.
  • Mix with Jell-O & Butter:
    In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies with strawberry gelatin powder.
    Drizzle in melted butter and stir until the mixture is evenly coated.
  • Optional Baking for Extra Crunch:
    Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, then let cool completely.
  • Add Freeze-Dried Strawberries (Optional):
    Stir in crushed freeze-dried strawberries for a more intense natural strawberry flavor.
  • Use & Store:
    Let the crunchies cool and sprinkle over cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, or yogurt.
    Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature.
