Equipment

  • Large skillet for searing chicken and making sauce
  • Mixing bowl to prepare seasoned butter
  • Tongs to flip and handle chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove to a plate and rest.
  • Add chicken broth to the skillet to deglaze, scraping up browned bits. Stir in the prepared butter mixture and cook until melted and smooth.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until warmed through and coated in glaze.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with sides like mashed potatoes or green beans.

Notes

Pair with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, or even warm dinner rolls for a restaurant-style meal at home.
