Ingredients

For the Peach Filling

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. Stir gently until the peaches are evenly coated and let them sit for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until fully combined.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or a fork to work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the peaches.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the filling is bubbling and the topping is golden.
  • Once finished, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
